Surroundings
Our Bed & Breakfast Hacienda la Buena Vida is located in the village of Algarinejo in the Spanish province of Granada (Andalusia region). It is a place to relax, away from the crowds but centrally located between several historic cities. These cities are easily accessible by car: Malaga and Cordoba (1.5 hours), Ronda (2 hours), Granada (1 hour), Montefrio (30 minutes). Montefrio is at National Geographic in the top 10 of the most beautiful cities with the most beautiful viewpoint. In addition to the historic cities, you will also find beautiful mountain ranges in Andalusia such as the Sierra Nevada (which in Spanish means snowy mountain range). From December to April you can ski there. On some parts there is even snow all year round. The area is a 1.5-hour drive from Algarinejo. Iznajar with its beautiful lake is also half an hour’s drive away. In October, November and December the weather is still beautiful there. Combining action with rest? You could go skiing on the Sierra Nevada in the morning and lie on iznajar beach in the afternoon.
Accommodation
On our Hacienda there are 2 apartments and a villa where 3 B &B rooms are present. The apartments are each equipped with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The villa has 3 rooms (of which 1 suite, 1 luxury room and 1 standard room), each with a bedroom, bathroom “en suite”, air conditioning, television and coffee and tea making facilities. The suite has as an extra a living room with seating area while the luxurious room has its own covered outdoor area with lounge set. The standard room is only rented in the case of groups.
The villa contains a cozy shared living room with television. Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. Around the villa are several terraces overlooking our garden of 5000 m2 and the surrounding mountains. At the centrally located swimming pool of 7 by 11 meters there are sunbeds and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains.
Groups
On holiday with family or friends? At a reduced rate, the 2 apartments and the villa can be rented at the same time. Feel free to inquire about
the possibilities. The villa and apartments can accommodate up to 14 people. Please note that we live in a part of the villa ourselves
Airport Service
You can use our airport service. You will then be taken from the airport to our Hacienda. We recommend renting your own car as the area has so much beauty to offer.
